Job Summary
Plan and direct field construction activities for assigned pipe crafts, coordinating personnel, materials, and equipment to meet schedules and cost estimates. Analyze situations to forecast problems, evaluate options, and implement appropriate courses of action while ensuring work remains within approved scope and complies with OSHA safety requirements and local statutes. Provide on-the-job training and development opportunities for project personnel. Work within company, client, and federal guidelines, utilizing Microsoft Office applications and maintaining certification. Handle physical demands including lifting 45 pounds, navigating confined spaces, and working 12-hour shifts in varying temperatures. Travel is required for assignments.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years Pipe experience
- minimum of 5 years as Journeyman
- Completion of pre-hire and post-hire substance abuse testing
- Completion of Safety related certifications such as OSHA 10 or Safety council programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be computer literate and able to utilize Microsoft Office applications
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 45 pounds
- Move in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas
- Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with age
- Work up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions
- Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds
- Travel is required

- NCCER plus Pipe Fitter certification
