Job Summary
Conduct pipe stress analysis using CAESAR II FEA Tools and NozzlePro for manufacturing and fabrication projects. Apply knowledge of ASME B31.1, B31.3, CSA Z662, and API Codes to ensure compliance across Oil & Gas, Upgrader, and SAGD environments. Utilize AutoCAD and 3D CAD applications for detailed design support. Maintain a minimum of five years of experience in a relevant setting, holding a Mechanical Engineering degree and professional engineering registration with APEGA.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Strong CAESAR II FEA Tools and NozzlePro
- Knowledge of codes: ASME B31.1, B31.3, CSA Z662, API Codes
- Basic AutoCAD and 3d CAD applications
- Oil & Gas, Upgrader and SAGD experience
- Mechanical Engineering Degree
- Registered as a Professional Engineer, or eligible to register as a P.Eng. with APEGA
Desired Qualifications
- A mix of Manufacturing and EPC experience is also acceptable
