Job Summary

Design, analyze, and document piping systems for industrial and process plants using Caesar II, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and Autodesk Inventor. Perform pipe stress analysis to ensure compliance with ASME B31.1/B31.3 codes while developing 3D models, detailing supports, and optimizing layouts for safety and maintainability. Generate isometrics, general arrangement drawings, and material take-offs, then coordinate with process, mechanical, and structural teams to maintain design consistency. Review vendor drawings and participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, and constructability assessments. A BS in Engineering and minimum three years of experience in piping design and stress analysis are required.

Required Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in piping design and stress analysis
  • Proficiency in Caesar II
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Experience with piping materials, specifications, and fabrication practices
  • Strong understanding of piping codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API)
  • Ability to interpret P&IDs, piping specs, and equipment layouts
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Desired Qualifications

  • CADWorx or Plant 3D a plus
  • Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or power plant projects preferred
