Job Summary
Pipe Layers to install and lay water and sewer piping, align and grade lines, cut and thread pipe, weld and seal joints, backfill and clear manholes, and inspect systems on construction sites in the Phoenix, AZ area. Responsibilities include installing mechanical joints, measuring and marking pipes, selecting pipe types/sizes, performing hydrostatic tests, and ensuring proper flow and slope for sewer and water lines on job sites. Requires a High School Diploma or GED and 2–3 years of related underground piping experience; occasional overtime may be required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Two (2) years to three (3) years of related experience laying underground water lines, sanitary or storm sewers required
- Three (3) plus years of related experience preferred.
