Job Summary
Grade trench bases, position pipe, and seal joints using welding equipment, cement, or glue. Cut pipes to required lengths, align components, and install or repair sanitary or storm water sewer structures. Dig trenches by hand or with tools, locate existing pipes with indicators, and check slopes with levels or lasers. Lay out routes following blueprints and coordinate with supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- 2 plus years of experience in pipe laying & utilities roles
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
