Job Summary
Hands-on drilling helper/operator to support a geothermal/pipelaying/underground work crew; assist with installing and repairing underground pipelines for water, sewer, and storm drainage; handle drill rods, pipes, and casing; assist the driller, set up and tear down the rig, monitor drilling fluids (mud/air), excavate trenches, align and position pipes per blueprints, connect joints (welding/gluing/threading), and test pipes for leaks; work outdoors in all weather, with overtime and long hours as needed; prior underground utilities/sewer/septic experience is a plus, and heavy equipment operating or drilling experience is beneficial.
