Job Summary
Unload tools and equipment, prepare building site materials, stack materials, and set up equipment at various construction projects. Carry out physical labor tasks by digging, moving dirt, or compacting new construction sites while safely operating hand and power tools such as jackhammers, drills, and saws. Operate heavy equipment including end dump trucks, rollers, loaders, and compactors as instructed. Direct traffic safely around the site and follow all health and safety regulations, ensuring proper protective gear is worn at all times. Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner, assist subcontractors, and clean debris and hazardous materials. Work in extreme weather conditions and extreme heights, including trenches and ditches.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent educational experience
- State licensure to work with hazardous materials
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 75 pounds
- Must be comfortable climbing ladders, working at elevated levels or in trenches
- Positive attitude and work ethic
- Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
- English and Spanish fluency
- Must have reliable transportation to and from job site locations
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions hot/cold
