Job Summary
Plan and coordinate work on pipe crews by reading blueprints, scheduling materials and equipment, and conducting daily huddles to establish production goals. Record daily events in job diaries, track quantities, and develop crew safety inspection plans for submission. Lead the crew by example, enforce safety policies, and proactively train members to enhance their skills. Communicate effectively with customer representatives and inspectors while maintaining alignment with company values.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- One year of related experience and/or training
- Ability to read blueprints and job-related documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Mathematical skills including probability and statistical inference, fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Problem solving
- Basic computer skills including Internet, email, and the use of digital cameras for work documentation
- Driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
- Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
- Must be available for pre-employment drug testing
- Must be available for pre-employment physical
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of related experience and/or training
- Supervisory experience
- OSHA or other relevant safety certifications
