Job Summary
1st Class Pipefitter needed in Tampa, FL to perform shipfitter duties in a shipyard setting. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints and sketches, manipulating and transporting loads up to 50 pounds over distances up to 200 feet, operating tools and machines essential to pipefitting, and navigating gangways, scaffolding, and varying heights up to 30 feet. Requires 2–3 years of shipyard experience and the ability to work in confined spaces; HS diploma/GED/trade school diploma preferred.
