Job Summary
Install and assemble piping systems according to blueprints and schematics for HVAC and other applications. Maintain and repair existing piping to ensure optimal performance, utilizing appropriate welding techniques and power tools. Conduct inspections to identify issues and necessary repairs while collaborating with other tradespeople on construction sites. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and industry regulations throughout all tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient mechanical knowledge related to pipefitting practices
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Experience with pipeline installation for various applications, including HVAC systems
- Strong skills in welding techniques suitable for different types of materials
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards governing pipe installation and maintenance
