PIPE FITTER (CERTIFICATION REQUIRED)

Pipefitter role responsible for installing complex piping systems on Navy ships and in shop settings. Requires reading blueprints, fabricating, installing, inspecting, and testing piping systems onboard ships. Training includes a Fundamentals of Pipe Fitting class and ongoing skill enhancement. Must provide one or more certificates/diplomas in pipe fitting or a related field from a recognized program (high school vocational program, community college, trade school, apprenticeship, or military equivalent). Must be able to work at extreme heights or in small confined spaces, kneel/squat/crawl/bend, and lift 40 lbs; shift may vary. Relocation is not offered. This is a full-time position with no telework eligibility; no clearance required at start. U.S. Citizenship may be required for certain positions.
