Pipe and Structural Welder Offshore

Job Summary
Weld structural components and pipes offshore, operate welding equipment, perform welding processes for structural, piping, and welding projects, and ensure welds pass NDT testing per AWS D1.1, ASME IX, and API 1104. Welds using aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, and other alloys; select and install torches, filler rods, and flux according to welding chart specifications; monitor fitting, burning, and welding to avoid overheating, warping, or distortion. Transport welding equipment to the work area and perform duties safely and efficiently, including the use of hand tools and PPE. Requires ability to pass a practical welding test, minimum of two years of experience, TWIC card, pre-employment physical and drug screen, background check, and effective communication in writing and verbally. Outdoor environmental conditions are common; 80-90% of work is outdoors. Position requires US work authorization and no visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Must successfully demonstrate the ability to pass a practical welding test
- Minimum of 2 years of welding experience
- TWIC card
- Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
