Pilots - Medevac First Officer

Job Summary
Medevac Pilots transport thousands of passengers each year and may serve as First Officer or Captain. Responsibilities include conducting flights with strict adherence to SOPs and regulatory requirements, assisting the PIC, fueling, performing pre- and post-flight aircraft inspections, lifting/loading/securing patients and cargo, assisting medical crew when required, briefing passengers, and contributing to safety management and regulatory compliance. The role requires strong English communication, teamwork, problem solving, integrity, and the ability to work in dynamic environments with a focus on on-time performance and patient care. Opportunities to advance toward Captain and to maintain current transport Canada qualifications are emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
- Category 1 Medical
- Current Group 1 Instrument Rating
- 500 hours total time
- Canadian citizenship or ability to work in Canada unrestricted
- Fluent in English
- Ability to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and authorizations
- Child Abuse Registry and Criminal Record check required
- Knowledge of aviation regulations
- Valid Passport
- Valid Driver License
- Ability to lift, load, and secure patients, cargo, baggage and freight
- Flexible schedule and ability to travel for extended periods
