Job Summary

Pilot Instructor to provide advanced mountain, aircraft type and emergency training, NVG/night rating, and check rides for military and civilian students. Responsibilities include high-quality flight instruction, ground/in-flight training, customized lesson planning, performance feedback, aircraft maintenance reporting, and maintaining student records. Requires extensive flight hours, mountain experience, specific rotorcraft type ratings, longline proficiency, and bilingual English/Spanish communication; includes night shift capability and collaboration in a team environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 3000+ hrs with extensive operational background
  • 1000 hrs minimum mountain experience
  • Type ratings on Bell 407, AS350 – H125, EC120
  • Longline Proficient
  • Instructional background (classroom and aircraft)
  • Working in a team-oriented environment
  • Self starter / takes initiative
  • English and Spanish speaking
  • Can work night shifts (NVG training or on contract)
  • Experience with pre- and post-flight aircraft inspections
  • Maintain accurate student records including flight logs and performance evaluations
  • Knowledge of Transport Canada/FAA regulations
  • Coordinate with staff for scheduling lessons and resources
