Job Summary
Conduct medical air transportation for Med-Trans customers using a helicopter, ensuring aircraft readiness per FAR and Med-Trans manuals while maintaining accurate regulatory documentation. Collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, and facilities to safely transport patients, providing shift change information per protocol. Maintain required certifications, including a current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, instrument rating, and Class II Medical Certificate, with 1,500 total helicopter hours and 1,000 PIC hours. Receive a 15K sign-on bonus and 40K retention bonus after three years, with on-duty housing available at most locations. As part of Global Medical Response's emergency and patient relocation services, uphold core behaviors focused on compassionate care and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
- ~ Helicopter instrument rating
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- ~1,500 Helicopter Hours
- ~1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
- ~1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
- ~200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
- Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training
