Job Summary
Pilot (H) oversees department staff, aircraft, and operations in compliance with FAA, safety standards, and Sands Aviation policies. Responsibilities include supervising passengers and crew, hiring and coaching staff, enforcing SOPs, contributing ideas for service and process improvements, managing schedules and budgets, and maintaining safety and professional conduct. The role requires FAA licensing for A330/A340, significant flight hours with international experience, and the ability to work varied shifts in a high-activity hospitality/gaming environment. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate across diverse team members are essential. Location is Las Vegas, NV. Safety is an essential function; regular attendance is required.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- FAA Licensure in A330 or A340
- Minimum 5,000 hours total flight hours, with 1,000 hours on either A330/A340 equipment
- GIV, GIII, 767, or BBJ type rating with International corporate experience
- Proof of authorization to work in the United States
- Ground School, simulator training, and flight physical must be current within the past calendar year
- International flight experience
- Las Vegas residence, preferred
