Job Summary
Supervise and manage deck operations for pile installation/extraction on a pile barge in New Orleans area, serving as working supervisor on deck, controlling crane lifting and mooring operations, ensuring safety and compliance with Installation Procedures, maintaining equipment and rigging, and coordinating formwork, concrete work, loading/unloading, and site housekeeping. Responsible for safety leadership, weekly safety/toolbox meetings, incident investigations, daily reporting to project manager, and participation in preconstruction/weekly meetings. Requires 3-5+ years in related marine construction fields, background checks and drug screening, and adherence to E-Verify/EOE practices. Experience in crane operations, rigging inspections, formwork, concrete placement, inventory management, and coordinating safe, efficient operations is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years or more of pile barge superintendent related experience with emphasis in Marine Construction, Pile Driving, Pier Construction, and Marina Installation
- Willingness to submit to background check, medical exam, and drug screen during hiring process
