Job Summary
Lead Group and private Pilates Reformer classes at Goodson Recreation Center, specifically covering Wednesday Level 1 and Level 2 sessions from 8:30-10:30am. Deliver fitness education by promoting wellness, exercise science, and nutrition to participants while maintaining effective communication with staff and the public. Maintain current CPR/AED certification and hold minimal 200 hours of Pilates Reformer training or a Primary Group Exercise Certification with a Pilates Reformer Certification. Prior experience in specialty instruction is required, with First Aid certification preferred. Earn $29.40-$37.30 per hour in a part-time role with flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Graduation from high school or completion of GED
- Minimal 200 hours + comprehensive Pilates Reformer training or a Primary Group Exercise Certification and a Pilates Reformer Certification
- Possession of current certifications in CPR/AED
Desired Qualifications
- Will have prior experience in instruction of specific specialty
- First Aid certification is preferred
- Has an understanding and knowledge of exercise science, nutrition and wellness to promote fitness and educate participants
- Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain working relationships with employees and the public
- Will have knowledge of the principals and practices of fitness programming
