Job Summary
Develop and deliver safe, professional, comprehensive Pilates training programs for clients to help them attain goals and stay motivated; conduct initial complimentary assessments and goal setting to tailor programs; instruct private, duet, and semi-private sessions; collaborate with the Pilates Manager to grow your book of business and ensure client success; complete administrative requirements for client management; collaborate with other club departments to provide a well-rounded experience; deliver excellent customer service to Equinox members and guests; participate in ongoing training and development; maintain studio and equipment cleanliness; complete training and certification across all Pilates apparatus (mat, reformer, cadillac/trapeze, wunda chair, high/combination chair, and barrels); requires a minimum 400 hours of Pilates education and certification copies; compensation includes time spent in internal Pilates continuing education and business development, with pay transparency of $45/hr to $62/hr per session and $18.60/hr for non-session work; full benefits available for full-time employees per the role’s offerings.
Required Qualifications
- A Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training program or completion of certification on all Pilates apparatus including mat, reformer, cadillac/trapeze, wunda chair, high or combo chair, and barrels
- A minimum of 400 hours of Pilates education must be completed through a Pilates certification program
- Applicants must be able to provide a valid copy of their Pilates certification(s)
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Standing, sitting, and walking; Squatting, bending, and reaching; Pushing, pulling, ability to safely spot and correct clients during session
- Must have a legal right to work in the United States
