Job Summary
Pilates Instructor role at Equinox (Darien, CT) focusing on developing safe, professional Pilates programs for diverse clients, conducting initial assessments and goal setting, and delivering private, duet, and semi-private sessions. You’ll work under a Pilates Manager to build your client base, complete administrative duties, collaborate across departments for a well-rounded client experience, and participate in ongoing training. Requires completion of a Pilates certification program with a minimum of 400 education hours, valid Pilates certifications, and exceptional customer service skills. In-person role with part-time hours, offering opportunities for growth and access to benefits and education perks.
Required Qualifications
- Complete Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training program or certification on all Pilates apparatus including mat, reformer, cadillac/trapeze, wunda chair, high or combo chair, and barrels
- Minimum 400 hours of Pilates education completed through a Pilates certification program
- Provide a valid copy of Pilates certification(s)
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, squat, bend, reach; ability to spot and correct clients during sessions
- Maintain studio and equipment cleanliness
- Work with client base to build book of business and maintain regular client activity
- Experience instructing private, duet, and semi-private sessions
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure client experience
- Complete administrative requirements related to client management
- Participate in ongoing training and development
