Job Summary
Pilates Instructor needed to teach group, private, and semi-private Pilates sessions at Club Pilates studios in Portland, OR. Responsibilities include using Mat and Reformer equipment (and training in Chair, Springboard, Cadillac, TRX, Magic Circle and other equipment) to deliver safe, challenging classes; providing modifications for clients with injuries; developing class plans aligned with Club Pilates standards; ongoing education and adherence to education standards; and offering Intro classes, group apparatus classes, and scheduled private/semi-private sessions. Must have 450+ hour Pilates education (Mat and Reformer) and strong customer service, communication, and professional presentation skills. Required Qualifications
- 450+ hour comprehensive Pilates education (Minimum education to include Mat and Reformer)
- Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises
- Pleasant demeanor and excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrated group Reformer instruction abilities
- Professional and effective communication skills
- Willingness to evolve with new developments in the fitness industry, specifically Pilates
- Passion for learning and willingness to attend continued education trainings and seminars
- Punctual and reliable
