Job Summary
Pilates Instructor needed at Club Pilates studios in Oro Valley, AZ. Responsibilities include teaching group classes as well as private and semi-private sessions, using Mat and Reformer equipment with additional training in Chair, Springboard, Cadillac, TRX, and Magic Circle. Maintain safety and anatomical accuracy, develop class plans aligned with Club Pilates standards, provide modifications for clients with injuries, stay updated on education standards, and participate in continuing education opportunities. Requires 450+ hour Pilates education (Mat and Reformer) and strong customer service and professional communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- 450+ hour comprehensive Pilates education (Minimum education to include Mat and Reformer)
- Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises
- Pleasant demeanor and excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrated group Reformer instruction abilities
- Professional and effective communication skills
- Willingness to evolve with new developments in the fitness industry, specifically Pilates
- Passion for learning and willingness to attend continued education trainings and seminars
- Punctual and reliable
- Must be skilled at proper and safe use of a variety of Pilates equipment during each class, (minimum to include Mat and Reformer) to ensure a safe yet creative group experience
- Ideal skill set will also include training in the Chair, Springboard, and Cadillac, as well as TRX, Magic Circle and other equipment
