Job Summary
Develop safe, professional client programs that drive goal achievement and retention while instructing private and group Pilates classes. Monitor clients during training sessions for safe equipment use, conduct pre-participation screenings and goal setting for new members, and promote training programs and personal training services. Complete administrative requirements for fitness plans, maintain studio cleanliness, and educate members on current health and fitness trends. Requires one year of personal training experience and six months in Pilates equipment adjustment. Pay includes commissions between 10% and 60% plus minimum wage, with benefits including subsidized membership, 401(k) match, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Pilates program design
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of personal training experience
- 6 months of experience in adjusting body alignment, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel equipment
- Certified Pilates Trainer
- CPR and AED Certified
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- College degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or other related field
