Job Summary
Pilates Instructor develops safe, professional client programs and delivers private and group Pilates classes to drive goal achievement and retention. Responsibilities include conducting Pilates training sessions with proper equipment use (Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Barrel), performing pre-participation screenings during fitness consultations, promoting Pilates training programs and personal training to members, completing administrative requirements for each client’s fitness plan, maintaining studio cleanliness, staying current on certifications and industry trends, and educating members on health and fitness issues. Certifications and minimum qualifications include experience in Pilates program design, ability to handle the physical demands of the role, and CPR/AED certification. The role at Life Time emphasizes delivering an educational and memorable member experience aligned with the Life Time brand, with compensation described as commissions between 10% and 60% based on productivity and a guaranteed weekly minimum wage.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Pilates program design
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of personal training experience
- 6 months of experience in adjusting body alignment, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel equipment
- Certified Pilates Trainer
- CPR and AED Certified
