Job Summary
Develop safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive goal achievement and retention. Instruct both private and group Pilates classes while monitoring clients for safe and effective equipment use. Conduct fitness consultations including pre-participation screening and goal setting to assess and recommend training programs. Promote and sell Pilates training, group fitness classes, and personal training to members. Complete administrative requirements for each client's fitness plan and maintain studio cleanliness. Educate members on current health and fitness issues and trends. Remain current on certifications and new industry trends. Earn commissions between 10% and 60% based on productivity, with weekly minimum pay at applicable minimum wage.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Pilates program design
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of personal training experience
- 6 months of experience in adjusting body alignment, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel equipment
- Certified Pilates Trainer
- CPR and AED Certified
Desired Qualifications
- College degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or other related field
