Job Summary
Design and instruct Reformer Pilates-based group classes according to the BODYBAR teaching formula, guiding members with expert cues and performing personal form corrections. Cultivate an in-depth knowledge of the BODYBAR Method, Mission, Vision, and Goals while living the brand mission in every class. Secure subs promptly to own your schedule and create community through engagement before, during, and after sessions. Respond to client questions regarding movement considerations, studio policies, and promotions. Complete the full 200-Hour BODYBAR Pilates Instructor Program, including two intensive on-site modules and web coaching calls, with tuition due by October 1st. Join quarterly team meetings and required trainings to build confidence in every movement.
Required Qualifications
- A genuine passion for health, fitness, and helping others feel and move their best
- A 'people person' who thrives on energy, music, and personal connection
- Basic knowledge of anatomy or movement
- A feed-back mentality and growth mindset
- Strong communication and people skills
- A commitment to excellence and the drive to complete a rigorous certification
- Teaching or coaching experience
- Completion and Passing of BODYBAR's Instructor Training Program
- All applicants MUST be available to attend the in-person BODYBAR Instructor Training Course and web meetings
- Attendance in full, at dates is required for certification
- Instructors must complete the full 200-Hour BODYBAR Pilates Instructor Program for full Certification
Desired Qualifications
- fitness experience is a plus
- Pilates or group fitness experience (preferred, not required)
