Job Summary
Lead a long-term analytical effort to assess vulnerabilities of U.S. submarines during surfaced operations and develop operational and technical countermeasures. Manage and direct data collection, modeling and simulation, and real-world testing and evaluation while collaborating with the Navy Staff Undersea Warfare Directorate, the Intelligence Community, and the Navy acquisition community. This role requires a Top Secret clearance with SCI and at least 10 years of experience in unmanned systems assessment. The position offers a competitive salary range of $160,000 to $175,000 annually, including comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
- At least 10 years of professional experience that demonstrates proficiency in the operation or assessment of unmanned systems or counter-unmanned systems
- Demonstrated strong skill sets in the design and conduct of technical studies and assessments
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), including the ability to summarize and communicate complex ideas and analytical findings to a variety of audiences
- Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI and the ability to maintain it throughout employment
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Experience with counter-unmanned aerial systems and/or counter-unmanned surface vessels
- Experience analyzing metrics and conducting operational or technical risk assessments or root cause analysis, especially in the areas of physical security and counter-unmanned systems
- Experience in the conduct or assessment of Navy or Department of War force protection operations
