Job Summary
Conduct patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and administer medications as prescribed. Monitor vital signs, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to implement comprehensive care plans. Educate patients and families on health conditions while providing emotional support and assisting with medical procedures. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Requires a Bachelor's degree, valid license, and two years of PICU experience. Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent
- Valid nursing license and registration
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Staff Nurse
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of medical procedures and protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families
- Ability to handle high-stress situations and make quick decisions
- Proficient in medical record keeping and documentation
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
