Job Summary
Conduct education for current and new staff regarding pediatric ICU protocols and standards. Audit clinical practices and develop specialty-specific practice standards to improve job performance. Coach and mentor team members while fostering a collaborative environment among healthcare staff. Lead orientation efforts and apply research findings to enhance patient care within the Women and Children unit.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Current New York State Registered Nurse registration and certification or eligible for licensure in New York State
- Demonstrated clinical competence
- In depth knowledge in specialty area
- Ability to identify problems
