Job Summary
Picture Editor for the News on iPlayer VOD team in Glasgow. Edit mid- to long-form streaming content using FCP X/Adobe Premiere, selecting pictures and sound, logging shots, coordinating with producers, and delivering packages with appropriate GFX. Responsibilities include editing with gathered material and library footage, logging, planning editing sessions, recording and transmitting pictures and sound from OBs, agency feeds, and studio sources, and providing material for GFX sequences. Some evenings/weekends may be required to support breaking news; collaboration across BBC networks and regions is emphasized.
