Job Summary
Teach beginner-level tennis and pickleball classes for children ages 5–10 using company lesson plans. Manage groups of 8–16 students, take attendance, and maintain a safe, positive learning environment. Communicate professionally with parents and school staff while taking class photos for documentation. Complete a 2-day unpaid training and shadowing session before starting. Schedule options include summer camps (June–August), after-school programs (September–May), and Saturday clinics. Pay ranges from $18–$24 per hour or $50–$65 per session depending on the program. Applicants must be 19+, authorized to work in the U.S., and live in the Bay Area with a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- At least 19 years old
- Must have a valid driver's license and personal vehicle
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must complete a TB test and Live Scan background check before employment
- Must currently live in the Bay Area and be available for in-person work
- Must provide a photo and short biography for the company website
Desired Qualifications
- Playing or coaching experience preferred but not required
- USPTA/PTR certification is a plus
- Enjoy working with children
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
