Job Summary
Part-time Pickleball Pro responsible for group and private pickleball instruction for ages 3 and up, maintaining teaching standards, managing class records/registrations, scheduling clients, and promoting the game. Duties include teaching and assisting in social and competitive events, organizing in-house tournaments, answering member questions, and reporting weekly numbers. Requires USAPA membership or equivalent certification, CPR/First Aid training, 2+ years teaching experience, strong customer service and organizational skills, ability to work weekends/holidays, and fitness to demonstrate and teach pickleball for long periods. Cross-teaching in tennis is preferred and may be assigned by the Tennis Manager. Must present a neat, professional appearance and comply with uniform requirements.
Required Qualifications
- USAPA member
- USPTA Pickleball Certification, PPR, or IFP Academy Certification
- First Aid/CPR Training
- Minimum of two years teaching experience
- Customer Service Skills required
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Must be able to work extra hours, weekends, and holidays if needed
- Proven track record of accountability and integrity
- Ability to play and teach pickleball requiring standing, running, directional movements, swinging of racquet and holding of multiple tennis balls for at least 8 hours straight per day
