Job Summary
Develop, sell, and teach safe, professional revenue-generating on-court programs while interacting with members through non-revenue activities like open play and intro classes. Manage administrative oversight of pickleball programming, including scheduling, billing, and marketing material coordination. Partner with Corporate Racquet Sports leaders on strategic changes and broader marketing efforts. Supervise club pickleball staff, working with the General Manager to scout, interview, and onboard new team members. Requires thorough game knowledge, teaching certification within six months, and CPR/AED certification. Full-time role with on-call rotation; competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of the game of pickleball
- Experience teaching pickleball
- Pickleball teaching certification required within six months of hire
- Excellent customer service skills
- Friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude
- Experience planning and executing events
- Comfortable working with all age groups and building positive relationships with members and team members
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
- Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills
- CPR and AED Certified
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA), and/or Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR), and/or United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA)
- Experience with Life Time's internal scheduling software
