Job Summary
Plan and deliver private, semi-private, and group pickleball lessons in a fun, safe, inclusive environment; assist with directing day-to-day operations of club lessons, leagues, clinics, programs, and court bookings; provide quality customer service and respond promptly to inquiries; document safety concerns and coordinate with the Recreation Programmer; respond to emergencies including minor first aid or arranging medical assistance; lead and support other coaches with lesson plans and coaching strategies; certifications are required (NCCP Level 2, First Aid/CPR-C, High Five) and availability includes evenings/weekends; Police Vulnerable Sector Check required.
Required Qualifications
- NCCP Instructor Level 2 certification
- Minimum 5 years experience teaching in a club environment with all ages and levels of play
- Minimum 4.0 DUPR playing level
- Current Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification
- Current High Five Principles of Healthy Child Development and High Five Sport certifications
- Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) certification is an asset but not required at application
- Police Vulnerable Sector Check satisfactory to the Town
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Certifications may be obtained prior to job commencement
