Picking - Material Handler I

Job Summary
Operate forklifts and cherry pickers to unload materials and merchandise from incoming trucks and pick parts for shipment. Read customer order notes and fill orders with any special customer requirements; accurately weigh, verify part numbers and quantities; pack orders into shipping cartons and ensure all components are accounted for the correct customer. Maintain stock of warehouse and shipping supplies; assist in inventory counts and audits; report stock issues and defective materials to leads. Maintain warehouse cleanliness and orderliness while following safety rules. Requires High School level education, 1+ years related experience, RF handheld proficiency, and certification to operate forklifts and cherry pickers. Position is in a non-climate-controlled warehouse with standard warehouse duties and shifts (Mid-Shift 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM; Days 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1+ years of related job experience preferred
- RF handheld experience preferred
- Certified to operate forklifts and cherry pickers
- Strong proficiency in English communication including reading, writing, and verbal interactions are required for complying with safety protocols and operational procedures
