Job Summary
Distribute Urth Caffé products accurately and efficiently, receiving, inspecting, stocking, and rotating incoming inventory. Scan, sort, pull, pack, and load outgoing items for delivery while maintaining precise inventory records and verifying product quality. Report discrepancies, damage, or safety concerns immediately and uphold all sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and support continuous improvement initiatives. Wear required PPE, use proper lifting techniques for items up to 25 pounds, and navigate busy warehouse areas safely. Maintain a clean workspace throughout each shift and respond promptly to alarms and verbal instructions.
Required Qualifications
- Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety shoes and any additional protective gear required for the position.
- Use proper lifting techniques and material handling equipment, including hand trucks, when moving heavy items.
- Request assistance when lifting items weighing more than 25 pounds.
- Immediately clean spills and place caution signs to prevent slips, trips, and falls.
- Practice the 'Clean As You Go' philosophy by maintaining a clean and organized workspace throughout each shift.
- Safely perform duties that require standing, walking, lifting, balancing, bending, climbing, and handling materials throughout the workday.
- Regularly lift and carry up to 25 pounds without assistance.
- Safely move, bend, squat, kneel, twist, stoop, reach, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.
- Safely climb ladders when necessary.
- Work in refrigerated and cold-temperature environments as required.
- Wear required personal protective equipment for the majority of the workday.
- Respond promptly to verbal instructions, alarms, and other workplace sounds.
- Safely navigate busy warehouse, production, and storage areas.
