Job Summary
Outbound Lead oversees outbound operations and ensures picker/packer accuracy in warehouse/distribution center. Responsibilities include locating items via order lists or pick tickets, verifying product codes and quantities, using material handling equipment (hand trucks, pallet jacks) to transport items, packaging according to specifications, labeling shipments with addresses and tracking numbers, inspecting items for defects, reporting quality issues, maintaining inventory records, coordinating with inventory control, and adhering to safety and quality procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent is required.
- 1 – 3 years of professional experience in logistics, warehouse, transportation operations or fulfillment center or in similar role.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to [insert weight] pounds.
- Ability to read and interpret order lists, pick tickets, and shipping labels.
- Basic math skills for counting, sorting, and verifying quantities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in picking, packing, and labeling orders.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
