Job Summary
Picker/Packer role performing 3rd shift activities in Cincinnati, OH. Responsibilities include moving materials into production areas using hand trucks, stacking and sealing cartons, and inspecting finished production for visual defects. Tasks require knowing fasteners by product code and markings, recording production counts, stamping cartons with operator numbers, counting and inspecting cartons, ensuring correct labels and barcodes, and handling cartons up to 75 pounds. Must operate forklift and related equipment, read/write, perform basic math, and work in an environment with noise, dirt, and fumes. 3rd shift schedule: Monday-Friday 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM. Pay is $15.00/hr plus $1.50 shift differential (suggested salary 16.50/hr).
Required Qualifications
- Must have proficient math skills and be able to read, write, add, and subtract.
- Must be able to operate a forklift, lift truck, electric dolly, chain hoist, stampers, and hand tape-sealer.
- Must have above average manual dexterity.
- 100% of the time, must be able to lift, stoop, bend, walk, pull, and carry +/- 75 pounds.
- Determined by area, might be required to stand 100% of the time throughout their shift.
- Must be able to withstand continuous exposure to disagreeable noise, dirt, and fumes within the OSHA allowance.
- Must be comfortable working in an environment where there is possible exposure to lost-time accidents, including but not limited to the hands, arms, feet, or back.
