Job Summary
Pick and pack grocery orders from designated storage areas, ensuring accurate item selection and secure packaging for shipment. Conduct quality checks on every order to maintain integrity, then restock shelves and rotate inventory to keep perishables fresh. Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and meet daily fulfillment targets while adhering to safety protocols and company policies. Address customer inquiries and resolve order-related issues promptly. Maintain a clean, organized work environment and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform repetitive motions
- Ability to use tools and equipment, including but not limited to knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
- Ability to work on weekends and holidays as necessary
- Ability to work overtime as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a grocery store, warehouse, or fulfillment center
- Familiarity with grocery items, including perishable goods and food safety practices
- Proficient computer skills and the ability to quickly learn and navigate warehouse management systems and handheld devices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative and independent problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be flexible in dealing with various obstacles and changes
