Job Summary
Picker/Packer role performing voice-directed picking to assemble orders, verify products, and pack shipments for delivery. Responsibilities include handling items safely (including glass and liquids), selecting appropriate packing materials, assembling boxes/envelopes, and ensuring orders are accurate on packing lists. Requires good reading/writing/math skills, attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and basic computer/scanner use. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; warehouse operations experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Good reading, writing, math, and computer skills
- Good communication (written/verbal) skills
- Detail oriented and accountable for making accurate decisions under set guidelines
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow instructions, work under stress, and handle multiple assignments
- Ability to read fine print and differentiate products with similar characteristics (size, color, vendor code)
- Experience: Knowledge of basic warehousing operations preferred
