Job Summary
2nd-shift Picker/Packer at a warehouse-driven operation: assist with filling and packaging orders, maintain warehouse inventory, train and contribute to continuous improvement, and operate warehouse software. Responsibilities include selecting and packing a variety of printed materials, assembling finished products for shipping, labeling, securing items on pallets, loading/unloading materials, and meeting productivity and quality standards. Requires reading and interpreting job specifications, basic arithmetic, strong communication, ability to work OT or different shift as needed, and readiness to use packing tools (shrinking/strapping, pallet jacks, ladders). Location is Cudahy, WI; in-person work on 2:00 PM–10:00 PM shift with a $2/hr second-shift differential and starting pay $16-$17/hr.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1+ year of relevant working experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- ability to read and interpret job specifications
- very good oral and written communication skills
- basic knowledge of routine packing procedures and equipment
- ability to stock, move, arrange, and rotate items
- familiarity with warehouse procedures and safety guidelines
- able to complete stock description forms and labeling requirements
- basic arithmetic
- flex schedule and overtime willingness
- ability to use ladder and basic hand tools
