Job Summary
Picker/Packer role responsible for filling/packing orders in a warehouse. Duties include picking/packing printed materials, assembling finished products for shipping, applying labels, handling boxes, placing items on pallets or in containers, and meeting productivity and quality standards. Requires ability to read and interpret job specifications, basic communication skills, and familiarity with packing procedures and general warehouse operations. High school diploma or GED preferred; 1+ years in manufacturing/warehousing is nice to have; background in handling loading/unloading, labeling, and using basic material-handling equipment. Compensation starts at $16.50/hour with potential shift differentials for 2nd/3rd shifts and standard benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1 or more years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or warehousing environment is nice to have
- Must have the ability to read and interpret job specifications and identifying the correct parts for fulfilling customer orders
- Basic communication skills (written and/or verbal)
- Basic knowledge of routine packing procedures, techniques, equipment and general warehouse procedures
- Able to stock, move, arrange, and rotate items in accordance with operating instructions or under guidance of a higher-level employee
