PICC RN PRN - Mobile Vascular Nurse

Assess patient medical history and laboratory values to qualify candidates for PICC placement, then perform insertion while maintaining aseptic technique and preventing trauma. Complete required paperwork, document insertion and radiologist confirmation, and provide patient education on care and maintenance. Participate in performance improvement activities by sharing insertion data with facility staff and assist Territory Managers and the Director of Vascular Access in clinical support rounds. Work independently with strong communication skills to coordinate with patients, families, and healthcare providers. Maintain clinical competency by inserting a minimum of six PICCs annually and one observed successful insertion.
