Job Summary
Instruct students for 30-minute private piano lessons, assess new student abilities, and create tailored lesson plans. Prepare and facilitate student participation in recitals and events while assisting learners in reaching their goals. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress. Maintain a minimum one-year teaching commitment. Submit a music-specific resume for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- Interpersonal Skills - Must be able to connect with people of all ages and skill levels
- Must be able to demonstrate teaching ability and instrument skill level during an interview
- Must give a minimum of a 1-year commitment to teaching with us
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in Music Education or Music Performance is not required, but is always a plus
- The ability to teach on multiple instruments (piano, guitar, voice, ukulele, violin, cello, drums, etc.) is always welcome!
