Job Summary
Instruct students for 30-minute piano lessons, assess new student abilities, and create tailored lesson plans. Prepare students for recitals and facilitate their participation in performances, including open mic nights, parades, and two formal recitals annually. Assist students in reaching their learning goals while communicating progress with parents and guardians. The role requires a minimum one-year commitment and involves connecting with students and families of all ages and skill levels.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to connect with people of all ages and skill levels
- Must be able to demonstrate teaching ability and instrument skill level during an interview
- Must give a minimum of a 1-year commitment to teaching with us
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in Music Education or Music Performance is not required, but is always a plus
- The ability to teach on multiple instruments (piano, guitar, voice, ukulele, violin, cello, drums, etc.) is always welcome!
