Job Summary
Prepare repertoire provided by music directors and record practice tracks to aid rehearsals without accompanist presence. Play piano during scheduled rehearsals and accompany solos and ensembles during performance events, including Christmas concerts, MSHSAA competitions, and the spring Music Festival. Coordinate schedules and repertoire with K-6, HS vocal, and HS band teachers while offering student coaching for solo and small ensemble preparation. Some travel is required for festivals and state competitions.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced piano performance
- Strong sight-reading capability
- High school diploma
- Some travel required
