PI Clinical Specialist

Job Summary
Provide clinical training to Sales Representatives, technicians, and physicians on Merit products while answering clinical questions and conducting field evaluations. Liaise between lab staff and customers to document complaints, troubleshoot product issues, and assess the skill levels of individuals being trained. Develop training curriculums, procedural materials, and CEU programs, and present at regional and national meetings regarding new technologies and industry changes. Collaborate with the T.I.A. Department to improve existing products and assist with new product rollouts. Requires a Bachelor's degree, five years of hands-on medical experience, and strong communication skills. Multiple shifts available including Days, Swing, and Nights.
Required Qualifications
- Education and/or business experience equivalent to a related Bachelor's Degree
- A minimum of five years of hands-on medical experience
Desired Qualifications
- Education and clinical experience equivalent to a Registered Nurse or Certified Cardiovascular or Radiology Technician preferred
- Medical product sales and sales training experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to analyze feedback in a training environment to develop strategies to improve knowledge, skills, and abilities
- A thorough understanding of training and development techniques
- Good analytical skills and the ability to understand complex issues
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to coordinate large programs
- Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs
