PI and Patient Safety Specialist (Lodi Memorial)

Job Summary
Supports hospital-level initiatives to reduce preventable harm and improve patient outcomes by assisting with improvement projects using Lean and PDSA methodologies, participating in root cause analyses, supporting safety rounding, reinforcing high reliability and just culture concepts, aiding regulatory readiness activities, and sharing learnings from the Patient Safety Organization (PSO). Provides data collection and reporting support, tracks metrics, and helps educate staff on quality and safety topics; collaborates with quality and patient safety leaders to monitor outcomes and document results. This role requires an Associate's degree and healthcare experience in quality, performance improvement, or patient safety, with preferred CPPS/Lean credentials and RN licensure. Vaccination and E-Verify commitments are part of employment. The position involves working within Adventist Health environments to promote safety culture and regulatory readiness across hospital-level initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent combination of education/related experience (Required)
- Two years' of healthcare experience in quality, performance improvement, or patient safety support roles (Required)
- Driver's License (DL) (Required)
- Licenses/ Certifications: CPPS certification and Lean certification: Preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or related credential: Preferred
