Job Summary
Senior Physiotherapy Lead responsible for directing and coordinating physiotherapy services across Amplar Health, with an emphasis on advanced clinical decision-making, complex case management, and evidence-based interventions for geriatric rehabilitation. The role oversees practice standards, team mentoring, service development, and continuous improvement to ensure high-quality, consumer-centered care aligned with organisational policies and standards. Requires degree in Physiotherapy with unrestricted AHPRA registration and extensive post-graduate experience in geriatrics/rehabilitation, along with leadership capabilities and strong change-management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Physiotherapy with current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Extensive post graduate clinical experience, including advanced practice in geriatric or rehabilitation settings
- Advanced knowledge of geriatric physiotherapy, rehabilitation, falls prevention, and functional assessment
- High level skills in complex discharge planning and transitional care models
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence practice, and drive service improvement
- Strong capability in change management and implementing new models of care
- Understanding of rehabilitation principles and safe manual handling
- Willing and able to provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations
- South Australian Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance (or willing and eligible to obtain)
