Job Summary
Physiotherapy Assistant to join the Physiotherapy department on a bank (as and when required) basis at Duchy Hospital, Harrogate. Key duties include assisting with physiotherapy interventions as directed by a registered Physiotherapist; supporting patients with prescribed exercises, mobility practice, and therapeutic activities; observing and reporting patient responses to treatment; setting up and preparing treatment areas and equipment; assisting patients with mobility aids and ensuring equipment is safe and clean; maintaining infection-prevention standards; and working as part of a multidisciplinary team. Ideal candidates will have healthcare/rehabilitation experience, strong communication skills, the ability to follow instructions, and NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification.
